Judith Flaxman, Ph.D., Director

Judith Flaxman, Ph.D., Director, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist who has over twenty years of experience providing treatment to individuals, as well as teaching and training graduate students.

Dr. Flaxman uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, EMDR and mindfulness techniques for individuals with anxiety, depression and interpersonal problems. She specializes in the treatment of sleep disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

She is a Certified EMDR Clinician and an Approved EMDR Consultant. She has been using EMDR to treat clients since 1991.

She was a professor at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology for over twenty years, where she taught courses in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), health psychology, and cognitive behavior therapy.
